Norwich Branch Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which Thames Driving School Norwich Branch provides driving tuition and related services. By booking or attending lessons, the pupil agrees to these terms and acknowledges that all lessons are provided subject to instructor availability, scheduling, and mutual agreement.

Driving Lesson Arrangements
All matters relating to the timing, location, and duration of individual lessons are to be agreed upon between the instructor and the pupil. Lesson times may be changed where necessary, but reasonable notice should be given wherever possible. The instructor reserves the right to refuse or reschedule a lesson if circumstances make it unsafe or impractical to proceed.

Pupil and Learner Responsibilities
Pupils are responsible for ensuring they hold a valid provisional driving licence and that they are legally entitled to drive at the time of their lesson. Any required glasses or contact lenses must be worn during the lesson if needed for driving or for reading number plates. Pupils must also behave in a respectful and safe manner throughout the lesson and follow the instructor’s directions at all times.

Driving Lesson Cancellations
If a pupil needs to cancel or rearrange a lesson, as much notice as possible should be given. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in the lesson being charged in full at the instructor’s discretion. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may affect future booking availability.

Payments and Lesson Fees
Lesson fees must be paid in accordance with the agreed payment method and pricing structure. Thames Driving School Norwich Branch reserves the right to change prices where necessary, but any confirmed booking will be charged at the agreed rate for that lesson or package. Any outstanding balance must be settled promptly.

Driving Test Support
Where the school provides support with practical driving test arrangements or related guidance, this is offered as part of the tuition service and remains subject to availability. The school does not guarantee test dates, waiting times, or pass results, as these remain outside our control.

Liability
While every care is taken to provide a professional and safe service, Thames Driving School Norwich Branch cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the use of this service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
